Katharine Mulherin Contemporary Art Projects and affiliated galleries have showcased the works of emerging artists since 1998 when Mulherin opened BUSgallery, a storefront exhibition space that, over the past eight years, has shifted and grown into three showcase galleries on Toronto’s Queen Street West, a recognized art district. While Mulherin has established herself as an art dealer, she continues to approach her practice as a project, driven by her concerns as an artist and curator. The galleries provide access to contemporary works of art, with a focus on emerging and mid-career Canadian and international artists.
